Guest speaker will be Miryom Landau. Miryom lives in Monsey with her husband and son. She became visually impaired as a child growing up in Israel. She will discuss her experience of adjusting to her vision loss and eventually moving to New York. She will share her unique perspective of being raised by a visually impaired parent with humor and practical tips. We will also discuss the two grants sources (The Challenged Athlete Foundation and the Foreseeable Future Foundation) which are currently open for applications.
