Rockland County, NY has developed a central special needs registry for residents with limited mobility, hearing impairment or other special needs which may affect their response during an emergency.

Registering online will allow emergency responders such as police, EMS, or fire department to be properly prepared  to assist this individual when an emergency strikes or an evacuation is necessary.

The simple survey includes check off questions indicating such things as the individual’s physical and mental condition, level of assistance needed, and necessary medications.

After registering a special needs person, you will be contacted periodically by the County to update their information.
