Sharps are needles, syringes, and lancets used for self medication. Residents of Rockland County NY are invited to safely dispose of their sharps at a monthly drop off the first Tuesdays of the month at designated facilities. Drop offs are accepted only during the date and time listed, from 10:00 am-12:00 noon, 6:00-8:00 pm.

Sharps must be placed in an approved 'sharps' container, which may be obtained from a surgical supply house or pharmacy.

These collections are for residents only, not for doctors offices or healthcare agencies.
