AUTISM TOOL KIT HELPS CAREGIVERS WITH WANDERING

Autism Speaks has awarded $30,000 to The National Autism Association to distribute 1,000 “big red safety boxes”, which are tool kits for preventing and responding to wandering incidents.

It contains educational materials, a caregiver checklist, an emergency plan, a plan for prevention and response in school, two door alarms, five laminated stop sign visual prompts for doors and windows, and other related items.

They are available while supplies last.
