The museum offers touch tour programs for the visually impaired.  The content of the tours change each month, and will be announced on their website.  Specially trained guides highlight special themes and exhibition halls with extensive verbal descriptions and touchable objects.

The Tenement Museum

A museum dedicated to showing how immigrants made a life for themselves in New York while working in the garment industry and surviving two economic depressions.

Touch tours providing extensive description are provided on specific dates.

The museum’s historic tenement is not wheelchair or walker accessible.
