ICHUD runs classes within over 40 local NYC mainstream schools for children with learning disabilities. Small class size (8-10 students per class) and individualized attention help each child achieve their maximum potential. Speech pathologist and guidance counselors on staff. Many children are mainstreamed into regular classes, and have achieved success afterwards in other schools.

Assistance is given to parents in accessing NYC Board of Education partial reimbursement.

Program director: Mrs. Shaindy Friedman

A program which address the needs of high-functioning girls who wanted the opportunity to attend a mainstream high school.  The self-contained classes within the larger high school setting give the girls the support they need, while enabling them to benefit from being a part of the mainstream school. Students are integrated in the mainstream school for many events, extra-curricular programs, Shabbaton, production and more.

The program is OPWDD eligible, has integrative opportunities and an innovative social skills program. Experienced BCBA on staff.
