Shorashim - United Talmud Torah St. Laurent (co-ed)

In the Shorashim class, students with mild to moderate cognitive delays receive individualized instruction and therapy in a Jewish day school, and are also integrated in subject areas in which they are strong. Piloted a few years ago, this program is unique in the Montreal mainstream Jewish day school system and has succeeded in breaking barriers and sensitizing the entire UTT student population to respect differences.
