iPads For Education---Covid 19
The New York City Department of Education has announced that it will extend its iPad loan program to students in private schools, prioritizing those who receive special education and related services from the City. The devices are loaned to students during the coronavirus pandemic, and must be returned when on-site classes resume. Therapy Carry-Over at Home
Amber Court, a pediatric home care agency, has announced that their therapists are doing home visits whenever possible. For Covid Orphans---Spread The Word
Keren Ha’ir Zichron Yisroel is assisting yesomim who have lost a parent to Covid-19. Each of these families that does a shidduch during the year of aveilus is entitled to either a 3-carat diamond tennis bracelet or a 1-carat diamond ring to give the kallah or a men’s fashion watch to give the chassan. Families not doing a shidduch during the year will receive a voucher entitling them to the gifts when the time arrives. A family doing more than one shidduch is entitled to multiple gifts.
