GSD/Glycogen Storage Disease and related metabolic diseases
A chizuk event for mothers of children with glycogen storage disease and other related metabolic diseases will take place Sunday November 18, at 6:30 pm in Boro Park. Come for an evening of chizuk, information, and inspiration. For more information contact Perry at 718-869-6633.
Safety Recall
The U.S. Food and Drug Administration said specific tablets of losartan potassium hydrochlorothiazide sold by Sandoz may contain N-Nitrosodiethylamine or NDEA, a potential cancer-causing chemical. Sandoz voluntarily issued a recall for its losartan potassium hydrochlorothiazide 100 mg tablets with lot number JB8912 on the bottle.
Adaptive Skiing
Helen Hayes Hospital is planning an adaptive ski clinic at Mountain Creek Resort during January and February. They are gauging interest in this program. If you would like to join, contact Peter Gagliardo at 845-786-4950
