Board of Ed Guide For Parents With Disabilities---New York City has published a new guidebook for parents and guardians with disabilities. This guide describes accommodations for parents and guardians with disabilities as they navigate their child’s school experience. It provides information on accommodations and accessible materials, and will provide information on school accessibility, accessible travel options and opportunities for parent engagement. Retreat for Frum Women with Crohn’s or Ulcerative Colitis---The Jewish Chron’s and Colitis Support Group is sponsoring a retreat for frum Jewish women living with Crohn’s or ulcerative colitis on June 10-12 2008 in Monroe NY. Join other women for a redemptive, healing experience while learning more about prevention and health. For more information contact JCCSG at 347-829-5227,

NJ Camp funding 2018---The New Jersey DDD has published its information sheet for 2018 camp funding. The deadline for applications is May 7, 2018. For more information see http://www.nj.gov/humanservices/ddd/documents/camp-funding-assistance-2018.pdf. Please note: the Division’s transition to a Fee-for-Service system is expected to be fully implemented by June 2019. Therefore, it is currently anticipated that Family Support camp funding assistance will be discontinued after the 2018 camp season; and, beginning in 2019, all camp funding will come through the individual’s fee-for-service budget.
