New Special Ed School---Yad Yisroel is a new special ed school located in the Flatbush Ahava building which will be premiering for the September 2015 school term. They are accepting children ages 5-12 years old with autism and other neurological impairments. All therapies are on site and therapists will work collaboratively with school staff. Autism Grants for Organizations---Autism Speaks is now accepting applications for grants of up to $5000 to help organizations start new programs for individuals with autism. L’Chaim Shidduch Meetings---L’Chaim schedules yearly global shidduch meetings between Rosh Chodesh Av and Tisha B’Av in an effort to help bring more couples under the chuppah. At these meetings, women with a heart meet to discuss Jewish singles who are looking for Shidduchim. Take the opportunity or encourage a friend to make and/or host a meeting, wherever you may be this summer.
