This is a mitzvah that all of us around the world can do. One of our fellow parents has entered the NMEDA contest to win a wheelchair accessible van. Esther Herzfeld has 4 children in wheelchairs, and deserves all of our votes. Please help spread the word. To vote, go to her entry page at http://www.mobilityawarenessmonth.com/entrant/esther-herzfeld-teaneck-nj Remember to click on “extra vote” and answer the daily question in order to double the worth of your vote.

If you voted last year but did not register with NMEDA for this year’s vote, you will need to register in order to vote.

The answer for Thursday May 14 is TRUE—though a lift is more expensive, it is more convenient than a ramp.
