Self-Employment Training--- In late May, Yad HaChazakah will be starting an "Operation JumpStart" self-employment program at their Brooklyn location, geared especially for individuals with disabilities. Over the course of 12 weeks participants will learn business basics, work through their entrepreneurial ideas, and develop Business Feasibility Plans. They will include information about ways to keep disability benefits while acquiring the resources to get a promising business up and running. You do not need to have a clear business idea right now. Just start thinking about what you like doing, what people say you do very well, what is lacking in your community, and what needs to get done. They will work with you on the rest. For more information or to set up a half hour exploration interview, please call 646-723-3955.
