Ambulette Service---Many people in Monsey/Spring Valley/New Square have told us that even after receiving Medicaid approval to go to a medical appointment out of county, they have a difficult time finding an ambulette service that will agree to do long distance trips.

MASA Ambulette Transporters, a frum company, has informed us that they will do Medicaid approved trips from Orange and Rockland Counties to anywhere in New York State, including New York City.

They are currently in the process of purchasing an ambulette with a stretcher in order to transport patients who must travel lying down, and hope to have it in service within the next few months.

They will also do privately paid trips for individuals and groups within New York State with their wheelchair accessible vans and buses.

How To:

You send us files for conversion and we will take care of them from start to finish – from receipt of the file through its conversion to the necessary accessible format depending on the type of disability, quality control and until its delivery to the client to his satisfaction.

Why?

  1. Better service for customers with disabilities
  2. Cheaper and more economical in investment, in purchasing special equipment, operating costs, time and worker employment.
  3. Simpler – communication with one provider
  4. Risk management – preventing claims for non-compliance with laws and regulations
  5. Compliance with legal requirements and defined timelines already in 2014

This initiative has been established as a social initiative for the promotion of accessibility, employment of people with disabilities and as an available and simple solution for organizations to meet legal requirements.
