Petition To Help A Child—A petition has been posted on the White House’s WE THE PEOPLE website asking President Obama to instruct the FDA to grant a compassionate use exemption to Refael Elisha Cohen, a child with an aggressive brain tumor, to receive Antineoplaston therapy, which is currently undergoing clinical trials. Baltimore Special Needs Employment OpportunityMenucha Inc. has informed us that through a grant, the Ruderman Family Foundation Opportunity Initiative, the Associated, is looking to place a young adult with a physical, intellectual or developmental disability as an intern to work at The Associated. Only three interns will be selected, each intern will be employed during one of the sessions identified below. The session dates are:

o Session 1: January, February, March, April

o Session 2: May, June, July, August

o Session 3: September, October, November, December

A minimum of 10 hours of work per week will be required. NOTE: Each session lasts approximately 16-18 weeks to roughly coincide with the academic calendar for those who are students and seeking school credit.
