- Did you know that the waiting time for diagnosis and treatment in the Child Development Centers of the Kuppah is limited by law? The Kuppa's Child Development Center must give you an appointment for diagnosis and treatment within three months for a child up to age one, and within four months for a child over ageIf the waiting time is longer than that, the kuppah must fund your treatment by a private therapist up until the amount set by the Ministry of Health.
- Hydrotherapy – according to the MinistryHealth, hydrotherapy is part of the health basket since they are a type of physical therapy. If the kuppah refuses to give you this treatment or asks you to pay some of the expenses through the bituach mashlim, they may be transgressing the law. Contact us to find out.
- Your child has bituach siudi (nursing insurance) in the kuppat cholim? You might be able to receive its benefits nowContact us and we will check it out for you.
Shemesh Parent Mentoring Program-- The SHEMESH program invites you for a personal meeting, one-on-one with parents of children with special needs who experience and know the difficulties as well as ways to overcome them, who speak the same "language", are aware of the rights, services, and ways to get them. Meeting other parents like yourself, who went through similar experiences, is crucial in successfully dealing with life's struggles.

Knesset Rally--On Monday, May 27 at 10:30 – parents will meet in front of the Knesset building in Jerusalem with the goal of getting MKs to sign the new Sharam act that has been resubmitted. The new law will force the Revacha to finance a foreign worker for a child under the age of 18 (unlike today when parents have to pay it all out of pocket). It is important to have as many MKs sign as possible, and so we need more parents to come! Parents who wish to join us, please contact AHAVA with your full name, TZ (ID) number – and we will get you an entry permit. Email Dafna Azarzar:
