Action Needed—The formula that funds OPWDD services may be changed on April 1st. The Federal Center For Medicaid Services want to cut 1.1 billion dollars from the Medicaid budget by changing the billing agreement they have with the OPWDD. This is on top of all the other budget cuts of the last few years. Such cuts would drastically affect the services families are receiving for their children! Contact the White House at 202-456-1111 or 202-456-1414, your congressman, and other representatives to protest these drastic cuts! The decision will be made in the next few days!
