Accessible Book Collection. A collection of free, easy-to-read, and accessible books on a wide range of topics. Each book can be speech enabled and accessed using multiple interfaces (i.e. switches, alternative keyboards, touch screens, and dedicated AAC devices). The books may be downloaded as slide shows in PowerPoint, Impress, or Flash format. You may write your own books using pictures from the huge collection at Flickr or pictures you upload.

For those who are learning to read. Route 66 Literacy is a web-based service that provides literacy instruction for persons (adolescents and adults) with developmental disabilities and/or those who are learning to speak, read, and write English.
For those who are teaching reading. Route 66 is designed to help teachers and non-teachers (volunteers, parents) teach reading and writing.
For those who are looking for real results. Through the provision of highquality,
