Ronald McDonald Houses are conveniently located near major hospitals all over the USA and in many other countries. They have been created to be a “home away from home” for families so that they can stay close by to their hospitalized children at little or no cost.
Every Ronald McDonald House has private bedrooms and playrooms for children.
Depending on the individual House, some of the following services may also be available:
- Special suites for children with suppressed immune systems
- Accredited education programs
- Recreational activities
- Non-clinical support services
- Sibling support services
