An effective Jewish behavior modification program for boys aged 4-10 presenting impulsive or oppositional behavior. This frum day camp located in the mainstream setting of Simcha Day Camp is based on the William Pelham model of behavior modification.
It has been shown to improve:
- attention skills
- problem solving
- self-regulation
- compliance
- rule following
- frustration tolerance
- impulse control
- self esteem
- social skills
The program has a psychologist and social worker on site, caring and knowledgeable staff, and individualized learning programs. Bus service provided from Brooklyn, Queens, West Hempstead, and the Five Towns.
Their unique parent training course teaches parents to incorporate research based practices and managing techniques.
