Craniopagus Twins
Gemini Untwinned

Craniopagus twins (CPT) is a term for two independent children that are connected to each other with fused skulls, intertwined brains, and shared blood vessels.
Separating them involves very detailed evaluation of the brain and a series of surgeries to separate the brain and blood vessels, stretch the skin, and create a new skull. The twins then need to undergo rehabilitation to teach them to crawl, sit, and walk.
The medical team at Gemini Untwinned specializes in the separation and care of craniopagus twins. They will either have the family come to them in London or travel to the host country to do the procedure together with the local medical team.
