Coat's Disease

Also known as Exudative Retinities.  Typically diagnosed before age 10, Coat’s Disease usually affects males.  The retinal capillaries dilate and leak fluid that may collect under the retina, leading to detachment, usually in the central retina.  Spontaneous arrest of disease progress is not uncommon.
