Rivka Pessin, is the founder of the ‘Beat Cancer’ center in Jerusalem for patients and survivors of cancer. With many years experience in the USA and now in Israel, she hase been conducting one-on-one sessions with good results. Among her clients are medical doctors, naturopathic doctors, nurses, physical therapists, personal fitness trainers, Yoga and Pilates instructors and more.
Rivka is a Cancer Exercise Specialists and a Post Rehabilitation Conditioning Specialists. Rivka (who treats only women), specialize in 27 different types of cancer and is currently the only one in Israel to carry a Cancer Exercise Specialist certification. She is a pioneer in the practice of cancer recovery and rehabilitation from the debilitating side effects of cancer surgery and treatment.
Rivka Pessin has the ongoing support and referrals from the top oncologists in Israel, with whom she works closely.
Her facility offers a “safe haven” environment of caring and trained professionals with a great deal of experience helping individuals reach their health and fitness goals safely and effectively. She uses advanced testing tools and workout equipment.
She also conduct workshops seminars and lectures on Cancer and Exercise for the health care community as well as for fitness professionals.
