Tetralogy of Fallot

A combination of heart defects that usually occur together—ventricular septal defect, obstruction of the pulmonary artery (the aorta lies over the VSD), and abnormal thickening of the right ventricular muscle.  This complex disorder requires surgical correction early in life.
