Also called Raynaud’s phenomenon (RP).  An exaggerated response  by the body to cold or stress which causes vasoconstriction of the arteries and arterioles of the digits.  Symptoms include excessive sensitivity to cold, pallor or bluish tingeing of the hands or feet, ears, nose, or face.  Treatment is avoidance of triggers and keeping the body warm.
