Fabry's Disease

A metabolic disorder caused by a defective gene on the X-chromosome.  It affects only in males.  Fabry’s causes glycolipid, a product of fat metabolism, to accumulate in the tissue.  Affected men can live into adulthood, but tend to develop heart disease and kidney failure.
