Autism can reliably be diagnosed by age 2, but the average age of diagnosis in the U.S. is about 5 years old. Recent research confirms that appropriate screening can determine whether a child is at risk for autism as young as one year. While every child develops differently, we also know that early treatment improves outcomes, often dramatically. Objectives are: Screening, Diagnosis and Interventions, Addressing Gaps and Solutions in Access to Care, and Building a Community of Support. Registration requested.
