LIKE THAT
We have children with disabilities. You call them children like that.
You have children who are mean to ours because they have disabilities. We call them children like that.
We are parents who will stop at nothing to advocate for our children with disabilities. You call us parents like that.
You have healthy children whom you fail to educate to be considerate, caring, and compassionate to children who are different. We call you parents like that.
Instead of separating we and you by referring to each other like that…. Perhaps we can focus on how we and our children are all alike.
