Maya Angelou is a poet, educator, historian, best-selling author, actress, playwright and civil-right activist and she continues to travel the world, spreading her legendary wisdom. She was interviewed on her 70+ birthday and asked what she thought of growing older and she said, “It was EXCITING.”
