Web Poison Control
An interactive website operated by the National CAPITAL Poison Control Center that guides you through the same process as a phone call to poison control.
The web tool does triage and provides recommendations and information on thousands of substances. It has a pill identifier which can identify thousands of pills.
The system sends you a follow up email so you can get help if the situation changes.
If the exposure took place to a child under 6 months, an expectant woman, or someone with serious medical problems, call the hotline directly at 800-222-1222
If someone has a seizure, collapsed, has breathing problems, or won’t wake up, immediately call 911 or Hatzoloh.
